The Best Western Monopole Metropole is a very unusual family run hotel in the heart of Strasbourg. The hotel is conveniently situated a few streets from the main train station, yet only 5 mins walk to the Petite France, the main shopping streets and the Cathedral. The Monopole Metropole is an eclectic mix of styles, as it is composed of two buildings, one with rooms decorated in a traditional and comfortable style. In the other building the family commissioned local Alsatian artists and designers to create artwork and furniture in contemporary styles. Each room is different - perhaps you will have to come back and stay a few times before settling on your favourite!

Breakfast is served in a traditional Alsatian room with oak timbers, wooden panelling and comfortable benches and chairs. The hotel offers a generous breakfast buffet with hot and cold food. There is a small cosy bar close to the reception, and two comfortable lounges where you can relax after a busy day sightseeing, or read the newspapers. The hotel also has private parking facilities and offers a baby sitting service on request.
