The Grand Hotel Copenhagen is located less than a minuteís walk from the central station which means that guests have good access to many of Copenhagenís attractions such as Tivoli Gardens, the Town Hall Square and the pedestrian street, Str¯get.

A classic building dating back to 1890 (a hotel has stood on this spot for over one hundred years) there are a few concessions and the bathrooms are fairly small. But the bedrooms themselves are a good size and contain some of the original features of the building such as heavy wooden doors. These features continue throughout parts of the hotel including stained-glass windows in some of the stair-wells. Single rooms have just a single bed and shower only. All rooms have telephone, satellite TV and in-house video, mini bar, hair dryer and trouser press.The main restaurant, Frascati, is Italian, and serves informal lunch and dinner at reasonable prices for its standard.

For business guests thereís a small business centre to one side of the reception with a pc, printer and fax.

The Grand has retained a lot of its original charm and remains a popular choice in Copenhagen.
